LUCANIA. Metapontion. Punic occupation, circa 215-207 BC. Half Shekel (Silver, 18 mm, 3.29 g, 7 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. META Ear of barley with leaf to right. HN Italy 1632. Robinson p. 50, 3. SNG ANS 549. Rare. A very sharp and very attractive coin. Hairline flan crack, otherwise, good extremely fine.
